Barkada is Hong Kong's newest modern Filipino hot spot from Filipina-American cookbook author Jen Balisi of Indulgent Eats and Singular Concepts. Barkada means your group of friends in Filipino, and we can't wait to welcome you into our friend circle as you return again and again for the savory, sour, sweet and spicy flavors on our menu paired with refreshing tropical libations at our street-facing restaurant & bar.
Our menu is inspired by the Filipino tradition of pulutan, small plates that are designed for enjoying with a Red Horse beer on tap or one of our signature cocktails. We take inspiration from regional Filipino classics as well as global cuisines to bring a combination of authentic dishes and fun twists on tradition.
We're bringing something different from Hong Kong's family-owned Filipino institutions that we love, acting as an introduction for non-Filipinos while representing proudly for the Filipino community.

Barkada is part of Singular Concepts.
The singular remarkable adventures of the stories we tell are born with the core of fostering a culture of genuine hospitality with a hedonistic obsession. We are the gatekeepers of making the world better one plate/drink at a time by going against the grain and pushing the boundaries of each of our concepts with limitless imagination.
We work to improve lives, inside and outside the walls of our venues, with no job being too small. We believe that by extending our hospitality to our communities, we strengthen our own company culture.
A group that takes the lead in bringing unique concepts to life. Exploring different cultures and experiencing them first hand in order to tell our curious tales of adventures through our venues.
